This is the second Book of Raymond and his people, called the Raymondites.

Chapter 1
(From May 24th - June 19th, 2012)

1. And it came to pass, that the Lord spoke again unto Raymond. And He said unto him to take his wife and his posterity and return to the land of promise. And Raymond took his wife and family and they travelled back to the US on May 24th of the year 2012. This was 30 years after Raymond had gone to Germany. An account of his dealings there
was and will be given in the first book of Raymond.

2. So after a tearful good bye from very dear friends in Germany, they arrived in the city of Las Vegas, very tired but happy that the long flight was over. They came from Nürnberg, Germany via Düsseldorf, Germany. And how happy were they as they had finally managed to get all their 9 suitcases plus lots of other luggage through customs.

At the airport in Nürnberg - it was hard to say good bye ...

... to good and very dear friends ...

3. In Las Vegas, they felt the warm sun and were greeted excitedly by Michael and Karen, Kristin's parents, who came all the way from Syracuse, Utah to pick them up. And oh, how grateful Raymond and his posterity was for that great act of love! So they left, after all their belongings were securely packed in the van, leaving very little room for the people sitting in the back, for the last part of their trip, a 7 hour drive from Las Vegas to Syracuse, where they stayed their first night in the promised land. On the way they stopped shortly in St. George, where Raymond was able to embrace his dear mother, who lovingly supplied them with lots of  food for the journey.

4. After a short but good and refreshing sleep they arose on May 25, 2012 and were very grateful for their save trip. And the house of the Jensens became very crowded, for there were Michael and Karen and their daughter Kathi, and Robby as well as Jared and Kristin with their daughters and son Annie, Alicia, Katelyn and Hyrum, and also there were Raymond and Beate.

5. And it came to pass there was Jacob and Rike, who came to the rescue of Michael and Karen. They came and picked up Raymond and his wife to take them to their final destination. To North Logan they took them. And there awaited them a beautiful little appartment in the basement of the Williamson's house.

And it was surrounded by a great yard with lots of beautiful flowers. And they looked around and saw the beautiful area and the mountains.

And they were happy.

6. And they spent the next days to get settled, to take care of  organisational things and they tasted a good spoonfull of bureaucracy. They thought the bureaucracy in Germany was crazy, but it is even so in the USA. But they endured and so they got the things done they needed to get done like getting Raymonds Utah Driver License, and getting the car registered and insured,  and take care of bank business, and so on. And they spent their days productive and they explored the surroundings which now were their new home.

7. And it came to pass they went to church for the first time in their new ward, which is the North Logan 10th Ward in the North Logan Green Canyon Stake. It is only up the street, about 1 minute away from them. And it is a great ward with a good spirit. And there are about 360 members in that ward.

8. And Raymond and his wife went to the ward where their daughter Rike and her husband go, for they were singing there in the sacrament meeting. And it was as if angels were singing. And the hearts of Raymond and his wife were touched  very deeply. And they were very thankful for their posterity.

9. And so it was that they spent their time with their family and  friends and they went ...

... fishing, at Mantua Lake ...

... swimming, at the Hyrum State Park ...

... and at Willard Bay State Park ...

... playing with their grandkids at Adams Park in Logan ...

... and also with their kids.

10. And  Raymond remembered the times when he was young. And he wanted to see whether or not he could still climb trees. And he did ...

... much to the astonishment of his wife!!!

And they went on picnics like at the beautiful Green Canyon ...

... exploring the beautiful area and nature ...

And they praised the Lord

11. They also went to see many temples, for example

and many more.

12. And they saw lots of other interesting and great things like ...

... Promontory Point - Golden Spike Monument ...

... or downtown Salt Lake City - City Creek ...

 ... or Bear Lake ...

... and BYU Idaho, where their son Robby will be starting his studying in September.

13. And on Memorial Day they went to the cemetery where some of their ancestors are buried.

Mountain View Memorial in Salt Lake City ...

... and they visited with dear good friends, like ...

         ... Judy and Jerry ...

... and other wonderful friends like Sharon and Wayne, Lizza and her 2 cute boys. And dear Family like Ronald and Marian and Ben, and Ellen, Mindy, Lindsay and Sunny and some of their children. And the Hendricksons. And they are looking forward to see many more.

14. Also, they were very grateful  for all the loving effort that Janet put forth to organize a lovely baby shower for their daughter Rike.

15. And Raymond and his wife started  feeling at home. They counted their many blessings and were very thankful for all the good that has happened in their life. This ended the first 4 weeks of their new life in the promised land.
